The Environmental Stewardship, Utilities and Sustainability Community is a strategic theme and core competency of the facility manager that touches every aspect of the association. The primary responsibility of ESUS is to facilitate IFMA’s performance as a sustainable organization, develop the ESUS Community, and provide input on the development of ESUS as a core competency. To accomplish this responsibility, ESUS shall work with staff and the ESUS Community to identify and explore strategic and tactical initiatives related to sustainability in the built environment. Implementation is through approval of the board and incorporation into the strategic and tactical plans of the organization.  To view the ESUS eBrochure, click on this link.
