The Environmental Stewardship, Utilities and Sustainability Community is a strategic theme and core competency of the facility manager that touches every aspect of the association. The primary responsibility of ESUS is to facilitate IFMA’s performance as a sustainable organization, develop the ESUS Community, and provide input on the development of ESUS as a core competency. To accomplish this responsibility, ESUS shall work with staff and the ESUS Community to identify and explore strategic and tactical initiatives related to sustainability in the built environment.
