Alexa Stone is founder and President of ecoPreserve, an experienced and credentialed team providing transformative solutions to achieve sustainability, resiliency, and wellness. Since 2009, the ecoPreserve Team has partnered with public, private, and non-profit organizations to develop and implement plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, manage waste life-cycle, promote workplace wellness and achieve 3rd party certifications. ecoPreserve is a Certified Woman-Owned Business DBE/WBE/LDB/EDWOSB.

ecoPreserve’s clients include city, county, and state governments, transportation authorities, airports, federal agencies, hospitals, universities, including The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, City of Orlando, Orange County, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Jacksonville Transit Authority, Orlando Utilities Commission, Atlanta International Airport, SEA-Tac Airport, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport,  Advent Health, Orlando Health, Florida Department of Health, Rollins College, University of Central Florida, The PGA, The EPA, DOE and DoD.

Today, Alexa serves on the boards of IFMA’s Environmental Stewardship, Utilities, and Sustainability Community and the University of Florida’s School of Architecture’s Sustainability and the Built Environment Forum. She is an active leader in The Association of Energy Engineers’ Council for Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership. Alexa is a mayoral appointee to Green Works Orlando, a founding member of the Central Florida Energy Efficiency Alliance, alumni of @LEADForward. She chaired BOMA’s Green Committee and served on the boards of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and International Facilities Management Association (IFMA). She is a Judge for Practice Green Health and Orange County’s Green Schools Program. The 501(c)3 non-profit she founded, Green Destination.Org. is committed to informing and inspiring people to make their homes, schools, and workplaces green destinations.
