In the Sep-Oct FMJ publication, the ESUS Community sponsored a three-part article on Building Healthier Workplaces. Following up on this topic, please join us for this webinar featuring two speakers who will discuss the case for wellness and wellbeing initiatives and offer introductions to the WELL and Fitwel rating systems.

Ravi Bajaj is a Project Manager with Healthy Buildings, an environmental and indoor air quality consulting firm serving the commercial real estate industry since 1980. Ravi services projects across three service lines – Sustainability, Energy & Resources, and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) (http://healthybuildings.com/ ). Ravi has professional experience as a green building consultant with an emphasis on education and training. He holds a degree in Earth Science from UC San Diego and is a LEED Accredited Professional, with specialties in Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance, Building Design and Construction, and Interior Design and Construction. He is also a Living Building Challenge Ambassador, WELL Accredited Professional, and trained as a WELL and BREEAM Licensed Assessor.

Alissa Johnson is a Senior Associate at Center for Active Design (CfAD), where she works closely with clients through their Fitwel experience and certification process, advancing CfAD’s mission to help foster healthy and engaged communities. The Center for Active Design is the licensed operator for Fitwel, a unique building certification that positively impacts occupant health and productivity through an integrated approach to workplace design and operations. Fitwel’s development was led by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the General Services Administration (GSA). Prior to joining CfAD, Alissa was an Associate Architect with Foster + Partners, where she was a key team member in building The Bow in Calgary as well as coordinating the design for 425 Park Avenue in New York City. Alissa is licensed architect in the state of NY, AIA and NCARB.
