IFMA, RICS Announce World Workplace Europe 2017

Monday, June 20th, 2016

The landmark IFMA-RICS collaboration has announced that next year a World Workplace Conference and Expo will be held in Europe. The high-profile World Workplace global events have aimed at advancing and shaping the work of facility management (FM) professionals for the last 30 years.

World Workplace Europe, to be held in the summer of 2017, will offer the same valuable education, networking opportunities and inspirational content that FM professionals have come to expect from World Workplace events in the United States, India and Asia, but with a distinctively European focus. Wherever World Workplace is held, the programming guides participants in addressing timely topics of critical importance to operating the built environment.

Announced in April 2016, the IFMA-RICS collaboration is one of the most significant outcomes of the progress that the past three decades have represented for the FM sector. The collaboration aims to leverage the combined strength of IFMA members’ expertise and the breadth of RICS’ institutional experience to raise the profile of the FM profession and centralize educational opportunities for its practitioners worldwide.

Between IFMA’s European chapters and the long-established RICS presence on the continent, FM professionals in Europe stand to gain immensely from the advantages uniquely provided by the collaboration. World Workplace Europe is a key manifestation of this benefit, as it will bring together FM professionals from across Europe at an event hosted by two truly global bodies, and draw on leading content, thinking and knowledge from around the world.

As with every value-rich World Workplace event, the European conference program will feature:

  • Engaging and inspiring keynote speakers
  • Dynamic education offering solutions that attendees can use to optimize their facilities
  • A cutting-edge product and services exposition
